Admissions - Registration

New Admissions take place from December to March every year. Admission to classes Play class to IX are open to all children irrespective to cast, creed, community and religion. All admissions including mid session admissions are subjected to a vacancy and performance in the entrance test.

A Registration Fee of Rs. 200/- is charged. This fee is non refundable. Registration for any particular class/year is not transferable to any other class/year. If a child is re-applying, fresh registration will be required.

Registration is not a guarantee of admission.

	Eligibility
		Normally the children are admitted to Pre-Nursery, Nursery and K.G. Classes. However some limited seats may be offered to deserving and bright students in classes from 1st standard onwards.

Session

The school session starts from April and ends in March with summer break of a month in June and a winter break in December end.

Age for admission on 31st March

Pre-Nursery - 2½ Years.

Nursery - 3 Years +

K.G - 4 Years + & so on.

However, age restriction may be relaxed in case of exceptionally brilliant children.

	Requirements At The Time of Admission
		Play Class - The Admission Form must be accompanied by recent photographs (Five )of the Child and an attested copy of Original Birth Certificate. K.G. to IX - In addition to the above, the Admission Form must be accompanied by an attested copy of the Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school. The admission of a child to the school will mean a complete acceptance by the Parent/Guardian, of the School norms and rules. Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the School Management.

	Payment of Dues
All dues including fees are to be paid in advance by 10th of every month, failing which a late fee fine @ Rs. 2/- per day will be charged after 10th till the end of the month. If the dues remain unpaid, the student's name is likely to be removed from the rolls. Re-admission may, however, be allowed by the Principal, on payment of all the dues and a fresh admission fee. Mode of payment Payment can be made in cash or through a local crossed cheque/draft in favour of Scholars Public School , Rajpura. Date of presentation of cheque/draft will be treated as date of payment. A bounced cheque will be treated as non-payment of dues. Outstation cheque will not be accepted. Timings Time of payment will be from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on all working days. Schedule of payment Fees are to be paid every month but fee for May & June will be charged in May & fees for February & March will be charged in February. Concessions 20% concession in monthly fees will be allowed to first real brother/sister and 10% to each subsequent real brother/sister. Revision in dues The school reserves the right to reasonable revision of fees or any other charges as and when necessary.

	Withdrawl
a) One month's notice in writing has to be given to the Principal for withdrawal of a student, failing which the dues will be deducted from the caution money. b) The principal has the right to ask for the withdrawal of a student from the school at any time without assigning any reason. c) Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate/ School leaving certificate/Provisional certificate will be issued only after the clearance of the school dues. d) Fees for Transfer Certificate / SLC etc. is Rs 25/-. Duplicate Certificate can be issued only in special circumstances by charging Rs 50/-.
